Nacon has just revealed a brand-new controller aimed at Xbox gamers, the RIG Pro Compact. Initially, Nacon's new Xbox controller doesn't stay ahead of other similar products, but it is the insides that make it unique (a minimum of for the time being).
The Pro Compact may be the world's first Xbox controller to include Dolby Atmos support, an impressive achievement for that folks at RIG, a business which has been acquired by Nacon last year. For those who don't know, Dolby Atmos is a top-tier audio technology that immerses players in a more serious gaming experience that promises superior sound and astounding realism.
More importantly, the controller offers players an array of customization options, as they can create custom button maps, as well as change trigger sensitivity and control dead zones while using Pro Compact app for Xbox.
"This is the perfect controller for competitive players who prefer and play better, using a smaller form factor not available in other elite products. The Pro Compact provides unparalleled levels of customization through its dedicated Pro Compact app. This, coupled with the inclusion of Dolby Atmos, causes it to be an incredibly compelling controller for its price," said RIG VP of worldwide Sales & Marketing, Peter Petrides.
To redeem Dolby Atmos support on your Pro Compact, you'll have to download the Dolby Access app in the Windows Store on Xbox or Windows 10, connect the controller via USB, and connect a headset to start enjoying the immersive audio experience.
As far as the price goes, Nacon announced the Pro Compact is going to be available in-store in the United States at Best to buy on May 20 for $50. Customers may also be in a position to pre-order the controllers from GameStop, Walmart, and Target on May 5.
Last although not, you need to point out that the Pro Compact is fully compatible with Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S which is available in two color options: monochrome.
